المصدر 7 - جددت الجمعية العمومية للاتحاد العربي للغولف ثقتها في ياسر بن عثمان الرميان رئيساً للاتحاد للدورة الجديدة 2025–2029، وذلك خلال اجتماعها الذي عُقد في العاصمة السعودية الرياض على هامش البطولة العربية للرجال والروّاد، وسط حضور ممثلي الاتحادات العربية وأعضاء المكتب التنفيذي.

واستهل الرميان الاجتماع بكلمة رحّب فيها برؤساء وممثلي الاتحادات العربية، مؤكداً اعتزازه باستضافة المملكة العربية السعودية لهذه الاجتماعات المهمة، ورحب بالحضور بقوله: «أرحّب بكم أجمل ترحيب في وطنكم الثاني المملكة العربية السعودية، وأتمنى لكم إقامة طيبة على هامش منافسات البطولة العربية للغولف. لقد شهد الغولف العربي خلال العام الماضي نمواً واضحاً في مستوى البطولات والتنظيم والمنافسة، بفضل الجهود المشتركة والمبادرات التطويرية التي أطلقها الاتحاد، وفي مقدمتها السلسلة العربية للغولف التي تعد نقطة تحول في مسار لاعبينا العرب نحو الاحتراف العالمي، إلى جانب برنامج النخبة للمنح الرياضية الذي يسهم في تطوير المواهب العربية الواعدة وتمكينها».

كما قدّم الأمين العام للاتحاد العربي للغولف المدير التنفيذي للاتحاد السعودي للغولف نوح علي رضا كلمة ترحيبية أعرب فيها عن سعادته بلقاء ممثلي الاتحادات العربية مجدداً، مؤكداً أن اجتماع الجمعية العمومية يشكل محطة مهمة لتقييم المرحلة الماضية ورسم ملامح المرحلة القادمة من مسيرة الغولف العربي، وقال: «يسعدني أن أرحّب بكم من جديد في اجتماعات الجمعية العمومية، ونعتز بوجودكم بين إخوانكم في الرياض. اجتماعنا اليوم امتداد لمسيرة طويلة من التعاون، وفرصة ثمينة لتوحيد الرؤى وتعزيز مستقبل الغولف العربي».

وشهدت الجمعية العمومية إجراء انتخابات المكتب التنفيذي للدورة الجديدة، حيث أسفرت نتائجها عن تزكية ياسر بن عثمان الرميان برئاسة الاتحاد العربي للغولف لفترة جديدة حتى عام 2029، تجديداً للثقة الممنوحة له تقديراً لجهوده الكبيرة خلال السنوات الماضية في تطوير الغولف العربي.

كما أسفرت الانتخابات عن تزكية مصطفى الزين من الجامعة الملكية المغربية للغولف بمنصب نائب الرئيس الأول، وانتخاب عادل الفياض من الاتحاد البحريني للغولف نائباً للرئيس الثاني.

وضمّ المكتب التنفيذي في عضويته كلاً من:

- فهد النعيمي – الاتحاد القطري للغولف

- كريم سلام – الاتحاد اللبناني للغولف

- محمد الفتني – الجامعة التونسية للغولف

- عمر هشام طلعت – الاتحاد المصري للغولف

- فريحان بوشماوي – ممثلة مقعد العنصر النسائي

- عمر الحسيني – الاتحاد الفلسطيني للغولف

- عبدالله الهاشمي – ممثل الاتحاد الآسيوي

- غسان قباني – ممثل الاتحاد الأفريقي

- نوح علي رضا – أمين عام الاتحاد العربي للغولف

وتأتي هذه التشكيلة لتجسد مزيجاً من الخبرات العربية وتشكل دعماً مهماً لمسيرة الاتحاد في المرحلة القادمة.

وقدّم الأمين العام لاتحاد الاتحادات الرياضية العربية عبدالعزيز العنزي شرحاً مفصلاً حول آلية الانتخابات وإجراءاتها وفق اللوائح المنظمة.

وأجمع أعضاء الجمعية العمومية على أن تجديد الثقة بياسر الرميان يأتي تتويجاً للمبادرات النوعية التي قدّمها خلال رئاسته، والتي أسهمت في نقل الغولف العربي إلى آفاق أوسع، سواء من خلال تأسيس السلسلة العربية للغولف بنظام تصنيف موحّد، أو عبر إطلاق برنامج النخبة للمنح الرياضية، إضافة إلى المعرض التوثيقي المصاحب للبطولة العربية هذا العام، الذي مثّل خطوة أولى في بناء منظومة متكاملة لحفظ تاريخ الاتحاد العربي للغولف ورصد إنجازاته على مدى 5 عقود.

واختُتم الاجتماع بتأكيد الاتحادات العربية استمرارها في العمل بروح الفريق الواحد، وتعزيز مبادرات التطوير في مختلف الدول العربية، ودعم خطط الاتحاد الهادفة إلى صناعة بطل عربي عالمي، وتوسيع قاعدة اللعبة، وتعزيز حضورها على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.

The General Assembly of the Arab Golf Federation renewed its trust in Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan as President of the Federation for the new term 2025–2029, during its meeting held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on the sidelines of the Arab Championship for Men and Seniors, with the presence of representatives from the Arab federations and members of the Executive Office.

Al-Rumayyan opened the meeting with a welcoming speech for the presidents and representatives of the Arab federations, emphasizing his pride in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosting these important meetings. He welcomed the attendees by saying: “I warmly welcome you to your second home, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and I wish you a pleasant stay on the sidelines of the Arab Golf Championship. Arab golf has witnessed clear growth in the level of tournaments, organization, and competition over the past year, thanks to the joint efforts and developmental initiatives launched by the federation, foremost among them the Arab Golf Series, which marks a turning point in the journey of our Arab players towards global professionalism, alongside the Elite Sports Scholarship Program that contributes to developing promising Arab talents and empowering them.”

The Secretary-General of the Arab Golf Federation and Executive Director of the Saudi Golf Federation, Noah Ali Rida, also delivered a welcoming speech expressing his happiness to meet again with representatives of the Arab federations, confirming that the General Assembly meeting is an important milestone for evaluating the past phase and outlining the features of the upcoming phase in the journey of Arab golf. He said: “I am pleased to welcome you again to the General Assembly meetings, and we take pride in your presence among your brothers in Riyadh. Our meeting today is an extension of a long journey of cooperation and a valuable opportunity to unify visions and enhance the future of Arab golf.”

The General Assembly witnessed the election of the Executive Office for the new term, where the results led to the reappointment of Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan as President of the Arab Golf Federation for another term until 2029, renewing the trust granted to him in appreciation of his significant efforts over the past years in developing Arab golf.

The elections also resulted in the appointment of Mustafa Al-Zain from the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation as First Vice President, and the election of Adel Al-Fayyad from the Bahrain Golf Federation as Second Vice President.

- Karim Salam – Lebanese Golf Federation

- Mohammed Al-Fitani – Tunisian Golf Association

- Omar Hisham Talat – Egyptian Golf Federation

- Farihan Bushmawi – Representative of the Women’s Seat

- Omar Al-Husseini – Palestinian Golf Federation

- Abdullah Al-Hashimi – Representative of the Asian Federation

- Ghassan Qabbani – Representative of the African Federation

- Noah Ali Rida – Secretary-General of the Arab Golf Federation

This composition reflects a blend of Arab experiences and constitutes an important support for the federation's journey in the upcoming phase.

The Secretary-General of the Arab Sports Federations Union, Abdulaziz Al-Anzi, provided a detailed explanation of the election mechanism and procedures according to the organizing regulations.

The members of the General Assembly unanimously agreed that the renewal of trust in Yasser Al-Rumayyan is a culmination of the qualitative initiatives he presented during his presidency, which contributed to elevating Arab golf to broader horizons, whether through the establishment of the Arab Golf Series with a unified ranking system or through the launch of the Elite Sports Scholarship Program, in addition to the documentary exhibition accompanying this year’s Arab Championship, which represented a first step in building a comprehensive system to preserve the history of the Arab Golf Federation and document its achievements over five decades.

The meeting concluded with the Arab federations affirming their continued work in a spirit of teamwork, enhancing development initiatives in various Arab countries, and supporting the federation's plans aimed at creating a global Arab champion, expanding the game's base, and enhancing its presence on both regional and international stages.
